A spiritual conditioning program aimed at turning weak, soft, flabby Christians into strong, tough, faithful disciples for Christ. The objective is to get us out of the bleachers and on to the playing field.
Continuing with the sports analogy, we look at how Jesus wanted His disciples to spread the Word and apply that to how we are called to expand the team roster (His church).
Key Principle: We become like the God we pray to. As in team sports it is helpful to keep in touch with the team owner, to be united in his purpose, plans, and goals . . . so we keep in touch with God through prayer in order to be united in His purpose, plans, and goals for His Team the Church.
Finding a way to build playbooks to help us in life.
What is it that makes Jesus our model in the game of life?
As in team sports each player must do their part for the team win, so in the Lord’s Church each member must do their God-assigned part for the Church to grow.
When a life situation seems to demand our whole attention, we need to step back and see the big picture; but what is the big picture?
An encouragement to put the time we spend in our lives into perspective.
R & R! Where we go to rejuvenate ourselves as Christians.
Everything has a price! What is the cost of your faith?
