Sunday School: 10:00 a.m.
Worship: 11:00 a.m.
We're so excited for you to get to know us at LifeWay! We know that visiting a church for the first time can be stressful. You probably have some questions before or after you visit. So, we've tried to answer the 3 main questions that most people have...
What will we do?
Worship usually begins with a some announcements, an opening prayer and time of praise & singing with music. We're a church for the whole family. Music is blended & includes the newest contemporary songs and your favorite hymns. Our worship singers lead while accompanied by the praise team. Drums, guitars, keyboard & organ all help to point our hearts & minds toward our great God! Lyrics are projected on a screen so that its easy for you to sing & give God your praise.
After the singing time, we take the Lord's Supper (communion). This happens every week. Together we remember Jesus' great sacrifice, dying on the cross, His blood covering all of our sins. If you are a believer, we encourage you to join us in this time of remembrance. Servers will pass around the bread and the juice as you are seated. You may partake at any time you are ready and place your empty cup in the cup holders in front of you.
Next, there's a time of prayer, tithes and offerings. If you have a prayer request, use the tear-out in your bulletin and drop it in the offering plate as it comes by you. You're our guest. If you want to participate in giving, feel free to do so if you are led. Those of us who call LifeWay home, worship God through our tithes and offerings.
Our minister and sometimes guest speakers will then bring a Bible based message. We often go through series, which are designed to help you to grow in your faith.
At the end of every service, we offer a time of decision. This is for those who wants to be
baptized by immersion for the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit. Or maybe you want to
rededicate your life to serving Jesus? Or if you are in need of special prayer. Just come forward and someone will be there to help. The worship service starts at 11:00 a.m. and is about 1 hour in length.
What should I wear? God is much more concerned with your heart than your outward appearance. What people wear can range from jeans to suits and ties. Come as you are. Most importantly, we want you to be able to worship Him and grow as His disciple.
What about my kids?
We have a nursery for infants and toddlers. Its located just outside the sanctuary & our workers are ready for your children. Audio & video are available so you won't miss anything if you want to stay with them. Everything is kept exceptionally clean & safe for them.
Junior Church is offered for kids ages 10 and under (except nursery ages). They will have a time of praise & worship and a Bible lesson.
